
Aim and Scope
Journal of Mammalogy, an official publication of the American Society of Mammalogists, publishes original research on both terrestrial and marine mammals. All aspects of the biology of mammals, from conservation to systematics, are covered in the worldwide scope of this journal. It was recently named one of the top 100 most influential journals of biology and medicine in the last century by the Special Libraries Association. Published six times a year, each volume currently contains over 1,200 pages. Each issue includes several longer articles as well as many shorter general notes.
