
Aim and Scope
For over a century, the Proceedings of the Biological Society of Washington, a publication of the Biological Society of Washington, has been an international outlet for research papers about systematics, taxonomy, biogeography and phylogeny. Papers published cover the zoology, botany and paleobiology fields. Each volume of the Proceedings comprises about 800 pages and 75 refereed original papers. Papers are typically published within 4 months of receipt.
